Norwich Terrier Show Scene
The purpose of the conformation show is to evaluate breeding stock. A licensed judge, knowledgeable in each breed rates dogs for how well their appearance conforms to the standard. A breed standard is essentially a blueprint or an agreed upon standard of excellence established by the breed’s national parent club. See the Norwich Terrier breed standard.
